An annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of nitrile rubber project was jointly established by Mexico’s KUO Group and Jiangsu Jinpu Group, and it was formally started on June 28 in Nanjing Chemical Industry Park. The total investment of this project is about 110 million U.S. dollars and it is planned to be built in two phases. With an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons and an investment of approximately US$60 million, it will be completed and put into production by the end of 2013. This is China's first joint venture project for nitrile rubber.
