Shandong's first large-diameter metro tunnel shield machine is about to go offline

A few days ago, the “Opening No. 1” shield machine designed and manufactured by Jinan Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. successfully completed the assembly and commissioning. It is expected that it will be accepted on the next line on May 18. This is the first large-diameter metro tunnel shield machine in Shandong Province.

As the days of new products are getting closer and closer, Jinan Heavy Industries has a busy scene in the shield machine production workshop. After the “Opening No. 1” is accepted, it will be put into the construction interval of Wangfuzhuang Station on the R1 line of Jinan Metro, which will help Jinan Metro’s “speed increase”.

It is understood that this composite earth pressure balance shield machine has an excavation diameter of 6.68 meters, a total length of 85 meters, and a total weight of more than 500 tons. It is safe, reliable, well-equipped, powerful, and has perfect performance. All technical indicators have reached the domestic level. Leading level, with independent intellectual property rights, will not only play a demonstration role in Shandong Province and even China, but will also lead another leap in the development of subway shield technology, which will effectively increase the level of China's equipment manufacturing industry and major equipment core competitiveness.
