Plastic Pipe Vacuum Calibration Tank
The Molten Extrudate in The Extruder Is Drawn into The First Vacuum Chamber Through Calibration
The Vacuum Then Forces the Plastic Against the Calibration Tool While Cooling Its Surface Enough to Maintain Proper Dimensions. Cooling Water Enters the Chamber Through the Spray Bar.
The Calibrated Plastic Is Pulled Through a Second Vacuum Tank, Where It Is Cooled by Water Filling the Compartment. A Vacuum Can Be Applied to The Chamber to Help Maintain the Shape of The Plastic Product.
Depending On the Size of The Pipe, The Cooling System of The Vacuum Sizing Machine Can Be Cooled by Spray Cooling. Generally, Full Immersion Is Required When the Pipe Diameter Is Small, And Spray Cooling Is Appropriate When the Pipe Diameter Is Large.
After Cooling, The Plastic Product Passes Through the Final Chamber. The Rollers Help Guide the Plastic Through the Vacuum Setting Machine.
