The invention discloses a method for flotation separation of calcite in talcum powder , the method comprising the following steps :

First, the ore is first selected to remove impurities and then broken;

The crushed ore is added to the ball mill for grinding;

The slurry is added into the slurry mixing tank, and the collector is added . The concentration of the collector is 1% , and the added amount is 0.02% of the solid content of the slurry ;

Then, the slurry is added to the flotation tank for flotation, and the flotation adopts a mode of first sweeping and three fines, and the inhibitor and the foaming agent are simultaneously added at the same time;

At each selection, the inhibitor is gradually reduced to 150ml, 100ml, 50ml per minute, and the foaming agent is no longer added;

In the sweeping section, the foaming agent is added in an amount of 50 drops/min, and the amount of the collector is 150 ml/min. After the flotation is finished, the filter is dried by press filtration to obtain a high-quality talc powder.

The talc powder prepared by the method has a talc content of more than 88% , wherein the content of CaO is reduced to 4 to 5% .
