Kalmar announces all-electric medium-duty series forklift

Kalmar announced a new all-electric 9-18 tons series forklift. The electric forklift adopts zero-emission electric technology, which can reduce the impact on the environment, making Kalmar become the leader of the tonnage electric forklift manufacturer.

Kalmar electric forklift combines the advantages of two types of power forklifts, not only retaining the powerful kinetic energy of diesel forklifts, but also without exhaust emissions, noise and vibration. The operating cost of the new 9-18 tons electric forklift is much lower than that of similar diesel forklifts, and the investment return period can be as low as two years.

This series of electric forklifts uses lead-acid batteries, and the battery capacity is sufficient to ensure that the equipment will operate for 8 hours without interruption. In the future, this series of forklifts will also cite the new lithium-ion battery technology.

The ergonomic EGO cab provides the operator with a comfortable working environment. The full range of vision and the 180-degree adjustable swivel seat ensure the driver's safety. The cab can be adjusted to the operating position, and the fast-responding hydraulic system improves the accuracy of the operation and the overall driving experience.
