From January to July, Hangzhou exported 55.26 billion yuan of traditional labor-intensive products, an increase of 13.7%, accounting for 32.2% of the city's total export value during the same period. However, even labor-intensive products have upgrades within the industry: many are no longer simple OEM processes, but have their own brands and even a number of patented products. The high-tech products that have always performed well have not been disappointing. From January to July, Hangzhou exported 22.44 billion yuan of high-tech products, an increase of 10.9%, accounting for 13.1%. In the same period, Hangzhou exported lamps and other lighting equipment 2.85 billion yuan, an increase of 20.8%; exports of pharmaceutical products 2.37 billion yuan, an increase of 39.9%.
