In order to facilitate the recycling of bismuth and antimony in the slag, the Brazilian tin smelting plant uses a three-electrode reduction smelting process. The materials handled by the plant are mixed, including: (1) Thailand's high-grade concentrate, with an average of more than 65% tin; (2) Bolivia's impure concentrate, containing 30%-60% Sn, in addition to sulfur, also contains more lead, arsenic, antimony, bismuth, and iron and gangue and other low melting point; (3) the high iron ore in Brazil, an average of 40% Sn, and a considerable number of mineral tantalum and niobium; (4) various Secondary materials such as residue and scum (about 20% of the total material).
