On the other hand, it also shows that China's exports of European consumer products have large deficiencies in the control of banned chemicals, and the risk awareness of enterprises needs to be further strengthened. .
The main restrictions on REACH regulations for the export of consumer goods in the European Union are based on the list of SVHCs published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), the SVHC list. Since the EU first published the list on October 28, 2008, it has been updated 12 times and the number of restricted substances has reached 161. These substances are used in dozens of consumer products such as chemicals, textiles, plastic products, electronic products, and printed products.

Enterprises should control all kinds of harmful substances from the source, and strictly control from the perspective of the entire product chain, and actively follow up to remain active.
Liu Yitao, president of Puri Fusheng Consulting Services Co., Ltd., said that before exporting products, companies must fully communicate with EU importers to see if they need to carry out the corresponding REACH registration or SVHC test notification. If necessary, it is necessary to find out what needs to be prepared, some substances that have been registered or notified in the system, and do not need to register or notify again. Just test and supplement the gapped data accordingly.
Liu Taotao also stressed that there are many institutions that claim to be able to conduct REACH-related data testing, but there are only a few units that are truly certified by the European Union. Enterprises should strive to comply with REACH regulations in terms of technology and management to reduce regulatory compliance costs and management costs.
