Concept design of two types of low environmental load ships completed by Ishikawajima

Japan's Ishikawa Island Broadcasting and Maritime Company (IHIMU) has recently completed the conceptual design of low-energy-load tankers and bulk carriers. Due to the use of improved propulsion systems, composite additional energy-saving equipment, bow shape that mitigates the effects of wave impact, low-friction paint, etc., this low-energy-loading vessel consumes fuel consumption and greenhouses compared to previous ships of the same type. Gas emissions can be reduced by about 30%.
IHIMU states that its low-environment-loaded ship is an "eFuture" ship. As a result of its development, the low environmental load container ship has completed the conceptual design in June this year. This is the second batch of results, namely the conceptual design of the 310,000-ton oil tanker “eFuture 310T” and the 56,000-ton bulk cargo “eFurture 56B”. In this way, its "eFuture" ship covers three main ship types and forms a series. It is reported that some of the "eFuture" ship projects have been included in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's ship carbon dioxide technology development support project, the joint research project of the Japan Maritime Association and the support project of the Japanese consortium.
